Actions to Perform on Your Board

Overview

The Execution Board is your central hub for visualizing and managing your work. It provides a kanban-style board with lanes and columns to track the progress of your workitems (cards).

Understanding the Board Layout:

  • Lanes: Represent different stages or workflows your work progresses through. Think of them as swimlanes in a pool.
  • Columns: Each lane is further divided into columns, which represent specific steps within a stage.
  • Cards: Each card represents a work item, such as a task, user story, or bug. Cards move from left to right columns as work progresses.

Benefits of Using the Execution Board:

  • Visualize Work: Get a clear picture of your team’s workload and identify bottlenecks at a glance.
  • Start Quickly: Use the default board layout or customize lanes and columns to fit your specific needs.
  • Manage Workflow: Define work-in-progress (WIP) limits to ensure smooth flow and avoid overburdening team members.
  • Drag-and-Drop Functionality: Easily move cards between columns as work progresses.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Track progress and measure team performance through built-in analytics.
