Overview
Timesheets are generated on a weekly basis and in the Time Tracking view, you can log time against the workitems assigned to you. To log time against the assigned workitems, click the time cell for the required day of the week and enter the effort in hours.
Navigation
In the left navigation panel, expand the Workspace menu and select My Workspace. Hover over the My Workspace breadcrumb at the top, expand the Timesheet module, and select Time Tracking.
Steps to Log Time on Time Tracking
Prerequisite: To log time, you must first create a ToDo at the workitem level. The same goes for TaskPlan.
- Choose the date in the Calendar widget.
- Click the Filter button, and select the required project(s) and workitem type(s).
- Navigate to a specific workitem under the project using the drop-down icon on the Time Tracking grid.
- To log time against a specific ToDo or Task, select the time cell for the desired day of the week, enter the number of hours worked, and then click the SAVE button
- Click the SUBMIT button Or
- Click the SAVE and then ROUTE buttons. In the next stage, the approver will approve/reject the timesheet.
NOTE: The Save and Route buttons are only enabled when the Timesheet Approvers are set.
