Overview of Enterprise Account

Upgrading to an Enterprise account maximizes your use of NimbleRetro. It allows you to manage members through the User Management screen and provides better value from a licensing perspective.

Prerequisites

Free Trial Account: Ensure you have a free trial account and are logged in before converting.

Steps to Convert to an Enterprise Account

  1. Access Your Profile
    • Navigate to your user profile and expand the options.
    • Select Convert to Enterprise Account.

2. Initiate the Upgrade

      • Click the GET STARTED button in the Upgrade to Enterprise window.

3. Enter Details

      • Email Address: Use a company email address (e.g., [email protected]). Avoid personal email addresses (e.g., Gmail, Hotmail, Outlook, and Yahoo).
      • Enterprise Name: Enter a unique name for your enterprise, ensuring it’s not already in use.

4. Submit Information

    • After entering the details, click Submit. Your account will be upgraded to an Enterprise account, and your enterprise name will appear on the left panel and in the user profile section.

Steps to Join an Existing Enterprise Account

  1. Access Your Profile
    • Navigate to your user profile and expand the options.
    • Select Convert to Enterprise Account.
  2. Initiate the Join Request
    • Click the GET STARTED button in the Upgrade to Enterprise window.
    • Enter the domain address used to create the existing enterprise.
  3. Select an Enterprise
    • A list of enterprises registered with the same domain will be displayed.
    • Select the desired enterprise and click Submit. Note: This option will only be available if an enterprise with the same domain is not created already.

Notification and Approval

  • You’ll be notified that the enterprise admin has been contacted regarding your request.
  • Once the admin approves, you’ll receive an email notification, and the enterprise name will appear in the appropriate sections.

In Case of Rejection

  • If your request is rejected, the option to convert to an Enterprise account will reappear under your profile. You can reapply or contact the admin using the provided email.

Important Notes

  • Creating a New Enterprise: Once successful, you can use the User Management screen to invite more users.
  • Post-Conversion: Once your account is upgraded, the Convert to Enterprise Account option will no longer be available.

User Management Features

Access the User Management screen by clicking the Enterprise name on the left panel.

Role of the Personas in User Management

  • Admin Persona: Can modify user access rights, invite new members, and lock/unlock users.

  • Team Member Persona: Can only view the list of enterprise members.

Adding and Inviting Users

  1. Click the INVITE USER button.
  2. Select the persona (Admin or Team Member) for the invitee.
  3. Enter the email addresses of the users to invite.
  4. Click INVITE. An email will be sent to the invitees.

Locking/Unlocking User Accounts

Admins can manage users by locking or unlocking accounts from the More options menu on the User Management screen.

Lock/Unlock Users

Action Items Transfer

Users with a different domain name from your enterprise won’t be transferred. Their action items will be reassigned to the enterprise Admin.

Handling Non-Migrated Users

Non-migrated users, or those not belonging to your enterprise but who participated in retrospectives, will have their names displayed with a tilde (~) sign, indicating their status.
