The application administrator can do the enterprise settings for the organisation. The enterprise settings consists of setting up the budget horizon and plan period. The budget horizon is the period for which the budget of the organisation is set. It could be for 1 year (short term budget), 2 year (mid term budget) or 3 year (long term budget). Plan period is the period when you are allocated budget to run your plans. It can be yearly, half yearly and quarterly. For example, if the budget horizon of an organisation is 2 years and plan period is 6 months. It means the organisation defines its budget for 2 years and allocate money to different demands/projects in every 6 month to run them.
Please note that the time of the Implementation Cost and Estimated Business Benefit in a demand would be same as the Budget Horizon defined in the Enterprise settings page.
To set the enterprise settings, click the Enterprise Settings menu from the left pane and specify the changes.
